Your Impact:
Working closely with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and international shipping providers to ensure every shipment is handled with accuracy and meets the strictest safety and compliance standards. You'll lead crucial contract management, oversee logistics metrics, and ensure our operations are smooth, cost-effective, and operating within regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end process of coordinating uranium ore concentrate (UOC) shipments, ensuring packing, transport, and deliveries align perfectly with production forecasts and sales schedules. Ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations, managing approvals, contracts, and critical reporting with authorities. Take ownership of logistics KPIs, audits, incident investigations, and reporting—ensuring every shipment meets exacting standards of safety and compliance. Administer uranium sales contracts, shipment scheduling, and coordinate approval processes, ensuring seamless communication with our Marketing team in the USA. Build and maintain key relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and global transport partners, representing Heathgate in working groups such as WNTI and WNA. Manage stock levels of packing materials (drums, containers, etc.), ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics operations at the mine. Who You Are: A diploma or degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business, Economics, or related field is a must. You have proven experience navigating the complex landscape of federal and state regulations, from contract management to incident investigation. International shipping isn't new to you—you're comfortable managing global logistics in a high-stakes industry. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and experience with logistics databases are essential. Preferred Skills (Bonus Points If You Have): ASMA-approved certification in Dangerous Goods by Sea and IMDG code. Experience in radiation safety (ANSTO). Training in incident investigation methodologies. What's In It For You?
