Job Description
Manage logistics operations, including shipping and expediting.
Forward planning to ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders for freight solutions.
Mitigate risks and optimise spending.
Maintain compliance with global agreements.
Handle inquiries and track shipments.
Complete pre-alert documents for inbound shipments.
Manage customs duty and freight invoices.
Prepare and share inbound shipment reports.
Uphold company policies and legal requirements.
The Successful Applicant
You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a thorough understanding of international (import/export/air/ocean) and domestic (air/road) transport. Candidates from a freight forwarding background will be highly regarded. SAP experience is essential, ideally S/4HANA. Strong understanding of customs and regulatory compliance standards. Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will pride yourself on delivering practical solutions and achieving positive results.
