The Logistics Specialist will provide timely advice to management on all issues relating to local logistics support.The Logistics Specialist will be required to liaise with a range of stakeholders, including US Government employees, OASIS employees and vendors on daily basis through the course of their duties. The Logistics Specialist can be required to perform their duties in a demanding, variable and challenging environment, subject to environmental extremities (heat, cold and dust)ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities/DutiesPerform deliveries of stores within the OASIS site and HLS warehousePackage, palletize and consign inventory for dispatch, utilizing various modes of transport (road, air etc.)Prepare documentation for consignment and receipt of goods via Air Mobility Command (AMC) flightsPerform a range of inventory related transactions within CMMS SAPReport observed discrepancies in stock levels, transactions and serial numbersConduct excess and/or unserviceable goods reporting and controlAssist in programs of stock analysis and inventory review as required, including the determination of reorder levelsCorrectly handle and store hazardous materials and provide timely notification of any observed incidents relating to hazardous materialsReview and update TQ office processes and procedures and provide suggestions and process improvements to Customer Service SupervisorAttend to customer supply counter as requiredPerform physical warehouse inventory stock takes, documenting and certifying results and reconciling discrepanciesAny other reasonable duties as required QUALIFICATIONSMinimum EssentialComputer software and application knowledgeWorking with minimal supervision and experience working as part of a dedicated teamDemonstrated communication and interpersonal skills Administrative skillsDesirableVocational training and qualifications in Logistics related fieldsVocational training and qualifications in Logistics related fieldsInventory Analysis – Demand planning and revision of stock levelsTICKETS AND LICENCESMinimum EssentialCurrent Driver LicenseDesirableForklift licenceMR truck licence or the ability to obtain if requiredDangerous goods person licenceSTATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTSAt least 18 years of age.Able to fluently read, write and speak EnglishAustralian or US citizenEHS REQUIREMENTAll Amentum personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with all site environmental, health and safety requirements.
