Full Time, Permanent Position Highly Respected Ground Engineering Company Competitive Salary and Benefits Package!Reports to: Operations & Logistics Manager Department: Procurement and Logistics Our client is a well-respected and rapidly growing engineering company specialising in ground engineering solutions.With offices based in the Gold Coast & Sydney, our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional quality and innovative solutions to their wide range of clients.We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Logistics Manager to join the team in their Gold Coast construction yard.As the Procurement and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for stock control and logistical transportation, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all base locations and job sites.Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the transportation of plant and equipment.Enforce NHVR Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and ensure compliance.Train, understand, and monitor telematics systems.Justify and organize the hire of equipment as needed.Coordinate sub-contractors related to procurement and logistics.Handle supplier purchasing and purchase order control.Oversee ordering, monitoring, and delivery of stock to sites.Manage construction yard and inventory effectively.Enforce purchasing procedures and authority levels.Drive purchasing and logistical efficiency across all base locations and job sites.Develop strategic plans and policies to enhance warehousing operations.Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and transportation strategically.Maintain and manage the vehicle fleet.Perform management responsibilities as agreed with the Operations & Logistics Manager.Recruit, interview, select, and hire new employees.Oversee onboarding, induction, and development planning.Provide direct management support to employees regarding training, leave, and complaints.Undertake other tasks as agreed with the Operations & Logistics Manager.Participate in safety meetings and promote a safe work culture.Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance and maintain a safe workplace.Adhere to all aspects of the Integrated Management System (IMS).Act as a liaison between the site and office.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required: Strong communication skills Detailed understanding of piling and engineering practices Neat and tidy appearance High-level computer skills (MS Office) Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities Ability to work with all levels of company staff Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively Solution-driven mindset Mandatory Qualifications and Experience: Construction Industry General Safety Induction Card Motor Vehicle Licence Forklift Licence Additional Information: Be available on required workdays and ensure compliance with policies on drugs and alcohol.Comply with all applicable policies and work procedures.If you have any additional questions or want to discuss the role in further detail, please contact Rachel on 0406 168 580 or email ******.
