To support the Logistics team, we are seeking experienced Logistics Operators who are enthusiastic, hardworking and enjoy a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
A DAY IN THE LIFE... Reporting to the Line Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Forklift operation for materials movements on site including the loading and unloading of trucksUse of warehouse management systems to receipt, appropriately store and maintain inventory accuracy of raw and pack materialsAbility to work to deadlines to ensure timely despatch of finished goods to Distribution Centre's and inter-factory movementsThe staging of raw & pack materials to support Production SchedulesActive participation in Daily Operations Review and team meetingsTo assist in the setup of standardising of procedures and documentationTo assist in achieving the program plan and KPIs on a daily basisDetailed cleaning of plant and equipmentApply safety, quality and hygiene standards and follow work instructionsConduct incoming goods inspections and Chain of Responsibility checks along with maintaining good inventory control practicesA focus on continuous improvement and project work WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL? Be able to use computer-based warehouse management systemsHave the ability to work well in a team environment and have good time management skillsYour attention to detail will be well developed along with great communication skillsThe ability to be flexible and adapt at short notice DESIRABLE CRITERIA Have a work history in warehousing, material handling and structured problem-solving skillsContinuous improvement project work experienceApplicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.
