We are responsible for the highly regarded Queensland Firebirds, the ever growing participation and delivery of netball in our Queensland communities and the management of our $45 million state of the art venue, Nissan Arena.
The Opportunity As part of our dynamic Venue team and reporting to the Venue Event Manager, you will contribute to the operations of Nissan Arena, our amazing new community sporting venue, that is home to the Queensland Firebirds and hosts Netball, Volleyball, Basketball, Futsal, Martial Arts and Pickleball (just to name a few) events daily.
You will be responsible for event logistics within Nissan Arena. This includes set up and pack down for community events and a range of elite sporting events.
To succeed in this physical role, you must be able to complete manual work that involves heavy lifting. You will be required to contribute to the workplace, health and safety of our venue to ensure that all events are delivered in a safe manner.
As a member of our casual worker pool, you will have the flexibility to accept shifts based on your availability, primarily during weekends and evenings, with occasional daytime work. This arrangement allows us to adapt our staffing levels to meet the demands of varying events while providing you with a flexible opportunity that fits your schedule.
