Logistics/Materials Officer

Champ Resources partners with clients to provide Workforce Management solutions by matching the right candidate with the right opportunity.   About the role 12 Month Contract with the possibilty for extension  Competitive rate 10 on 4 off roster - 10hr days Travel during work time Camp Accommodation and meals provided while on roster Key Responsibilities Receipt deliveries Unload trucks, handling of equipment/materials and storage in warehouse/laydown yards Read and interpret picking slips/material lists/drawings and collate materials and deliver to different areas. Use of truck and diesel pod to refuel generators and equipment Manage equipment and machinery to ensure it is well maintained. Ie prestart checks, flagged maintenance  Setup laydown areas and manage storage control ABOUT YOU Are you physically fit and available to work a 10/4 roster?  Do you hold a LF Forklift and/or LR/MR/HR Licence?  do you have warehousing/laydown experience? As an experienced Logistic/materials officer you will need to meet the following criteria: Current Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle QLD construction induction LF forklift licence  Warehousing/laydown experience  Ability to pass a pre-employment and drug and alcohol screening Ability to start in 2 - 4 weeks and to work remotley You must be physically fit to perform demanding work including heavy manual handling, working in hot and humid conditions.  Strong committment to safe working procedures Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Desirable requirements LR/MR/HR licence To be considered for these positions you must provide a current resume outlining your experience and willingness working in similar positions.  You will be required to provide two (2) recent, contactable referees.
