Providing logistics solutions to major FMCG companies by ensuring the safe and timely delivery of bulk liquid, they are known for their commitment to safety, reliability, and exceptional service.This is a new position that requires an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the full spectrum of transport operations, focusing on achieving the highest standards of service quality, operational efficiency, safety, compliance, and financial performance.It will require strong leadership skills, strategic planning, data-driven decision making, and a focus on continuous improvement to support business growth. The successful candidate will lead a diverse team, manage key stakeholders, and play an active role in shaping the future of the company.Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement logistics strategies that ensure high service quality, efficiency, safety, compliance, and strong financial performance.Lead and inspire a team, fostering collaboration to achieve company goals.Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.Coordinate logistics and manage the end-to-end distribution process to fulfill customer requirements.Plan and optimize distribution schedules, ensuring alignment with business growth and operational efficiency.Oversee the maintenance and repair (R&M) of fleet and equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational readiness.Plan and optimize resources to support business growth and operational excellence.Build and manage supplier relationships; become a subject matter expert in R&M systems.Assist with managing supplies required for delivery that ensure WHS, QA, and Technical requirements are met effectively and efficiently.Ensure compliance with Australian OHSE and CoR laws and regulations.Implement and oversee risk assessments, SOPs, reporting systems, and training programs to maintain a safe work environment.Use business intelligence (BI) tools to analyze performance data and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.Forecasting and transport planning, including route optimization, operational integration with clients, and efficiency in logistics and fulfillment.Analyze truck and equipment life cycles to guide budgeting and resource allocation.Work closely with client stakeholders to address operational challenges, identify gaps, and optimize processes.Regularly report on logistics service levels and conduct performance reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction.Collaborate with Operations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ROI modeling.Drive ongoing analysis of business, client, and team needs to implement effective CI solutions.Forecast and plan human resources to meet operational needs.Oversee recruitment, induction, and training of office staff, and manage performance reviews to promote a high-performance culture.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in logistics management, with a track record of successfully overseeing operations and managing diverse teams.Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in BI tools and data analysis.Excellent communication and relationship management skills.Thorough knowledge of OHSE, CoR regulations, and best practices in fleet management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
