Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring efficient and effective operations.Manage and monitor the logistics budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation.Lead and mentor the logistics team, including conducting performance reviews, supporting career development, and fostering a positive work environment.Oversee inbound and outbound deliveries, inventory management, and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient operations.Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and all relevant regulations, maintaining a safe and effective work environment.Analyze logistics data to identify trends, optimize processes, and support data-driven decision-making.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align logistics activities with overall business processes and objectives.Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and drive continuous improvement.Regularly review and update logistics policies and procedures to align with industry standards and legal requirements.Desired Skills and ExperiencePerson Specifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Extensive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with a proven track record in team leadership and process optimization.Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and analytical tools.Strong ability to develop and execute logistics strategies that align with business objectives.Demonstrated skills in team management, including mentoring, training, and performance evaluation.Expertise in data analysis to drive decision-making, enhance processes, and identify efficiencies.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.Comprehensive knowledge of WHS and quality standards within a logistics setting.Adaptable, proactive, and solution-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement.Integrity and accountability, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all logistics operations.If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you—hit apply and take the next step in your career!
