As a key player in our logistics operations, you will oversee the optimisation of our freight, warehousing, and supply chain functions to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services tailored to our clients' needs.Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will take the lead in developing and implementing strategies that drive efficiency and enhance operational performance across the entire logistics network. You'll coordinate supply chain activities, manage a team, ensure regulatory compliance, and integrate advanced logistics systems to optimise operations.This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence. At Bulk Group, we offer a collaborative and supportive work environment where you can grow professionally, along with a competitive salary package, modern workspaces, and convenient onsite parking.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Operations Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimise freight, warehousing, and logistics operations tailored to client needs.Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure seamless delivery from suppliers to final destinations.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through forward-thinking, proactive strategies.Scheduling & Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate all freight movements across multiple transportation modes.Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including safety and environmental standards.Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, cost effectiveness, and service quality.System Integration: Utilise advanced logistics management systems for optimal operations.Team Leadership: Lead and manage the logistics team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering strong inter-departmental communication.Client Relations: Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding logistics operations, ensuring high satisfaction and effective issue resolution.Health, Safety, and Environment: Uphold health, safety, and environmental regulations across logistics activities.Budget Oversight & Cost Analysis: Manage budgets, conducting cost analyses to identify and implement savings opportunities.Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with third party suppliers, negotiating contracts for cost effective and high-quality services.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory and warehousing operations, ensuring accurate stock levels and streamlined distribution processes.Continuous Improvement: Drive sustainability initiatives and stay informed on industry trends and technologies to foster continuous improvement.About You:Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a track record of delivering operational efficiencies.Proven experience managing and leading teams, creating a positive work environment, and driving team performance.Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, including inventory management, distribution, and transportation.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and adapt to dynamic environments.Effective communication skills, with experience coordinating with internal teams and external partners.Proficiency in logistics software and systems to enhance operational outcomes.Relevant tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field are preferred.How to Apply:If you're a motivated and experienced Logistics Manager looking for a new challenge, #TEAMBULK want to hear from you!
