Company Overview$25m revenue business with an established reputation and aggressive growth plans.Role OverviewManage transport and warehouse operations for the business, which includes a mix of in-house and 3PL services. You will report directly to the Head of Operations, focusing on optimisation.Client DetailsThe business is known for manufacturing and delivering superior decorative products for homebuilders in Australia. With a range of 1000 high-end products, both manufactured in-house and imported from Asia, the company emphasizes design excellence and creating spectacular interiors.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all supply chain and logistics processes from inbound goods to customer delivery, managing an initial team of 10 reports across the warehouse and in-house drivers, along with external 3PL providers.Implement process improvements across all logistics functions, focusing on customer satisfaction, efficiency, and cost reduction.Ensure proper utilisation of the ERP system for logistics functions, particularly the Warehouse Management System.Adhere to all legislative requirements around Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and WHS.ProfileYou are a proven Logistics/Distribution/Transport & Warehouse Manager with experience managing both small in-house operations and subcontracted (3PL) providers. You are accustomed to short lead times and have been exposed to best-in-class systems and processes, with a strong understanding of WHS and Chain of Responsibility.
