The team at voestalpine Railway Systems Australia has blended international success with innovation and client-based knowledge to provide a service and product range of unparalleled craftsmanship and quality.About the PositionReporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Logistics Manager plays a crucial role in optimising supply chain operations to meet customer demands efficiently whilst minimising the costs and maximising the profitability for the organisation.Supply Chain Management: Managing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery to ensure efficient and timely movement of stock.Inventory Control: Monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand and implementing strategies to optimise inventory turnover.Warehousing and Distribution: Overseeing warehouse operations for both Bathurst and Mackay locations.Vendor Management: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and third parties to negotiate and ensure quality and cost-effective services.Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for streamlining processes, reducing costs, and improving the overall efficiency within the logistics function.Team Leadership: Leading and motivating the logistics team by providing guidance, training, and ensuring departmental goals are met.About YouTo be successful in the Logistics Manager position with the voestalpine Railway Systems team, you will need:Whilst not essential, qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or relevant commercial disciplines would be highly regarded.Demonstrated experience and success in Logistics or Supply Chain Management Leadership.Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and lead cross functional teams.Ability to adapt to changing market conditions with a results-oriented mindset.Commitment to meeting customer expectations by ensuring on-time delivery, accurate order fulfilment and exceptional service levels.Ability to travel domestically on a regular basis, and internationally on an ad-hoc basis.What is on OfferNo matter your position, life stage or background, you have the opportunity to shape your career path here in your way.
