Logistics Coordinator - Touring And Events

The Company: This leading Events Supplier specialises in domestic and international event and touring logistics.
Working with high-profile clients, they operate in a range of sectors including live music, theatre, festivals, live events, and much more.
They are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Brisbane to coordinate logistics for events.

Position Terms:
Full-time permanent role, working 5 days in the office Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 plus super The Role: The Logistics Coordinator will work alongside the domestic and international logistics teams to ensure the smooth coordination and delivery of freight for events and tours.

Key Responsibilities include:
Input and update shipment and customer information in the database.
Respond to inquiries about shipping status via phone, email or chat, and assist with tracking issues.
Prepare and organise shipping documents, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Communicate pick-up and delivery schedules to drivers and assist with route planning.
Monitor and track shipments, and update clients on status changes.
Report issues as required.
Communicate with freight carriers, gather quotes, and compare rates to assist operations staff.
Deliver small packages and paperwork to customs and the airport when necessary.
The Candidate: Open to either a junior candidate just starting their career or an experienced candidate with logistics coordination experience, the ideal candidate will have a passion for events.
Exceptional organisational skills are essential for this role.

Requirements:
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including drivers, event planners, and clients.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to unexpected changes.
A passion for events and a keen eye for detail to ensure flawless execution.
Ability to travel for events when required.
Ability to work in the office 5 days a week.
Must have a car + drivers license.
