Job Description While reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Part-Time Logistics Coordinator will manage international shipments, ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, and maintain effective communication with vendors and internal & external teams.
This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Role/Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with carriers and manage international shipments, including booking Import/Export cargo, preparing shipping reports, and tracking shipments.
Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
Maintain shipment data through ERP data entry, consignment receipting and accurate record keeping of shipment related documentation.
Prepare and process freight invoices for international shipments accurately and in a timely manner.
Review and resolve any issues relating to inbound/outbound logistics activities in a timely manner and ensure any potential shipping delays are communicated.
Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, sales, and finance to ensure seamless operations.
Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in logistics operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
Skills and Requirements / Qualifications: Diploma or equivalent; logistics management, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in logistics coordination, international shipping, and invoicing is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
Intermediate to Advance level in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work part-time hours, with the potential for occasional extended hours during peak periods.
