Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator are to coordinate, plan, and manage the transport logistics to ensure that Louis Dreyfus Company meets its contractual obligations and legislative requirements in the execution of all physical contracts (both purchase and sale).
Manage all logistics tasks including orders, accumulations, contracts, carriers, site planning, and collection of delivery reports and tickets. Work closely with the LDC Trading & Commercial teams and other key service providers to identify and secure the best commercial and service solutions available to LDC and its customers. Plan and execute logistics at LDC to ensure contractual obligations in the execution of all physical contracts, both purchase and sales, are met. Conduct reporting, analysis, and monitoring to ensure achievement of team objectives. Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Degree qualification in Agriculture / Business is preferred. Experience in a logistics position, ideally within the grain industry. Demonstrated ability to manage time and data effectively. Understanding of duty of care for chain of responsibility. Excellent communication and customer orientation skills. Team-oriented approach. IT skills with proficiency in MS Office programs.
