This role is responsible for all planning, controlling , coordinating and reconciling shipments for export operations and ensuring performance meets business expectations. This role is based in our Distribution Centre in Truganina.
What will I be doing day to day? Outbound deliveries between freight forwarder, warehouses, stores / customers. Includes all freight types (i.e. sea /air etc)Ensure all transport and freight is coordinated to each carrier correctly and in a timely manner (i.e. cartage, shipping line,freight forwarder)Coordinate key customer deliveries to ensure service levels are metProcess export / import documents in a timely manner to lodge correct data needed by the stakeholders including customsManagement of the process to ensure no delays occur and fines / additional charges are not incurredWhat experience/skills do I have? Experience in warehousing/logisticsUnderstanding of warehousing and freight providersMicrosoft Office experience, with advanced Excel skillsGreat communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholdersAbility to solve problems in a timely matter, whilst getting to the root cause of potential issuesWhat can we offer you?
