In this role, you will play a key part in developing a new line of business, specifically catering to small to medium-sized businesses, by providing innovative and efficient transport solutions.
As the business division grows, you will have the chance to step into a more senior position within the organisation, growing a team under you to support the continued success, making this an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.Key Responsibilities:Spearhead the establishment of the new business line by formulating and executing sales strategies targeting small to medium-sized businesses.Identify potential clients and build strong business relationships to generate new leads and opportunities.Prospect new business and new sales through a combination of cold calling, phone demonstrations, face-to-face meetings, networking, and closing warm leads.Present and promote our transport solutions, articulating the value and benefits to potential customers effectively.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.Analyse market trends and competition to stay ahead of industry changes and adjust sales tactics accordingly.Work closely with the GM to set achievable sales goals and drive the success of the new division.Requirements:Proven track record of success in sales in the transport or logistics industry.Experience in selling to small to medium-sized businesses.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to engage with clients and close deals.Strategic thinker with a customer-focused approach to identify and address client needs effectively.Familiarity with transport solutions and services, or a willingness to learn the intricacies of the industry.Goal-oriented and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.What to do now?If you are ready to take on a new challenge and be at the forefront of establishing a thriving transport solutions division, we want to hear from you!
