We're on a mission to bring new and uplifting experiences to our guests, transforming flying from simply 'nice', to something wonderful.
Like any good mission, this one starts with our people.
Which is why we encourage our team to embody the fun, laid back, authentic spirit we've become famous for. Because when they're free to be themselves, they're better able to own their personal responsibilities and go the extra mile to help our guests.
Hello. We're Virgin Australia. We're the airline that's always done things a little different. Our way. The Virgin way. We're on a mission to make flying better than 'nice'. And to do that, it takes a team of talented people who are passionate about customer experience, doing the right thing always, with a focus on safety – in the air, on the ground and in our workplaces. A team who values real diversity and inclusion, in a big brand with big ambitions.
Candidates must be Brisbane based, or willing to relocate.
About the role:

Your ability to analyse and interpret data will be key in driving continuous improvement in our operation across supplier performance, inventory management, and overall supply chain efficiency. This role requires a strong analytical thinker who can use data-driven insights to support seamless operations, reduce wastage, and enhance inflight services.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the management of the warehouse and transport logistics provider to meet SLAs and ensure a seamless supply chain.
Monitor service providers' performance, using data to track adherence to SLAs and KPIs, ensuring seamless delivery.
Use data analysis to identify inefficiencies in supplier operations, driving continuous improvements in supply chain fulfillment and catering performance.
Support the development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives, leveraging data insights to enhance operational efficiency.
Support the validation and reconciliation of monthly supplier invoices, ensuring they align with the budget.
Manage retail reconciliation and wastage reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of retail inventory to minimize losses and improve operational accuracy.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve service quality, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions to meet business goals.
Who we're looking for:
Strong analytical skills, with experience in interpreting data to drive supplier performance improvements and optimize supply chain operations.
Ability to clearly present data-driven insights to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that complex information is communicated effectively to support decision-making and drive action.
Proven ability to perform in high-pressure environments, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
Experience or interest in aviation or operations, with a focus on performance management and process optimization.
