Job DescriptionMcGregor Gourlay is seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics and Operations Manager to join our team in Toowoomba. This permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in logistics coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of logistics and operations to ensure efficient and effective processes within the Branch.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and optimising all logistical functions, including transportation, distribution, inventory control, and warehousing.Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction through effective branch inventory management and timely deliveries.Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational and delivery efficiency.Leading and mentoring a team of delivery and warehouse staff to achieve Branch goals and objectives.Collaborating with other team members to streamline processes and enhance overall business operations.Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.Analysing data to make informed decisions on resource allocation, delivery planning, and process improvements.Contributing to the development of long-term business plans to support company growth and expansion.The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of logistics management.
