Joining the Journey Beyond family, you will support our business in sharing special places and shaping lasting memories for our guests.Outback Spirit Tours offers unique adventure tours and luxury short stays across Australia. Our adventures capture the essence of Australia, from the rugged red cliffs of the Kimberley to the natural wonders of Tasmania. We operate 9 lodges in remote, beautiful locations, with a team of passionate guides, drivers, and operations staff.ABOUT THE ROLE:As Lodge or Camp Manager, you will shape unforgettable guest experiences in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Queensland. You will inspire and empower your team to deliver exceptional service, fostering a collaborative environment.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manage daily operations with a hands-on approach, ensuring seamless coordination between teams.Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest experience.Manage budgets and track expenses to align with business goals.Recruit, train, and build a professional team, providing regular feedback.Ensure adherence to local and state regulations, prioritising safety.Track guest satisfaction using the Net Promoter Score and proactively address issues.Foster relationships with suppliers, owners, investors, and stakeholders.Prepare and deliver monthly reports on operational performance.This is a remote position, and you will be required to live and work at one of our properties for the entire season. We provide all meals and accommodation. Please be aware of the unique challenges of long-term remote living.ABOUT YOU:The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a strong background in financial management and budgeting.
