Locum Veterinarian Full Time Bathurst Central Animal Hospital Rr-4408

Details of the offer

Locum Veterinarian Full time Bathurst Central Animal Hospital RR-4408
The clinic may be fast-paced but our team couldn't be more relaxed. We have achieved a collaborative team culture through regular staff meetings and strong trust when sharing cases. Our management team is very approachable and openly communicative.
We have a friendly and supportive team of 3 veterinarians, 6 qualified vet nurses, and helpful kennel hands.
Our nurses are an integral part of our case work-up process; assisting with consults, admissions and discharges, taking bloods, and placing catheters.
Dates Required:
9 October - 20 October 2023
Roster:
Our veterinarians typically work 4 days per week, clocking off at 5.30pm. The week is evenly split between "consult days" (morning consults with some surgery in the afternoon) and "surgery days". No after hours or weekends.
Equipment and Facilities:
We're a new modern purpose-built clinic that was established in 2019. The equipment we have on-site includes:
Ultrasound & X-Ray Machine
IDEXX (Catalyst, Procyte, Coagulation, Sedivue)
Modern anaesthetic monitoring equipment
Otoscopes and Ophthalmoscopes
Dental Unit
Practice Management Software:
EzyVet
Location:
The clinic is within walking distance to many cafes and shops, with a grocery store right next door for emergency snacks. Bathurst is less than 3 hours from both Sydney and Canberra, hosting events most weekends, such as live music and various festivals. We also aren't too far away from dams/lakes for water sports and some great camping spots too.
Our Goals:
Given how much our clinic has grown, we want to focus on providing a high level of care for our patients and clients, as well as continuing to build our already strong team culture.
About You:
Must hold an Australian recognised veterinary degree
You're excited to learn and develop new skills
You have a positive and friendly attitude to complement our team
Good communication with clients to ensure we cover all care options as we provide a range of advanced services while also referring when necessary (approx. 2-3 times per month with our nearest referral hospital in Sydney).
APPLY NOW:
If you desire to work with our dynamic, fun, and forward-thinking team and believe you would be a good fit, please apply online or contact Elyse or Victoria on 02 7257 7*** or ******
