Applications are open for a Locum Consultant Specialist in Aged Care / Geriatric Medicine to join the dynamic Health of Older Persons Department at Alfred Health to work Full Time (38 hours per week) backfilling sabbatical leave from 3 March 2025 through to 31 August 2025.
The Health of Older Persons Department supervises Advanced Trainees in Geriatric Medicine and values a commitment to quality patient-oriented care through collaboration and research.
Minimum Qualifications: Legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.A Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent.Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Geriatric Medicine, specifically within Trauma or Perioperative Medicine.Applicants must also meet Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Geriatric Medicine.
