Our client is seeking qualified Grade 3 Sonographers for their Medical Imaging department from the 14/10/2024-14/01/2025.
Salary: $80 to $95 p/h
Location: Glenelg Shire, Victoria

Benefits: No on-call duties required80 hours per fortnight (full-time)Scheduled breaks and a supportive team environmentState-of-the-art equipment: Two Philips EPIQ ELITES, One Philips ELITEAccommodation support provided, including shared facilities within a 10–15-minute walk to the hospitalTravel reimbursement capped at $200About the Role: This position is available for a 3-month placement (14/10/2024 - 14/01/2025). You will provide high-quality ultrasound services, demonstrating clinical expertise and maintaining best practice standards. Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver exceptional care and adapt examinations based on clinical needs. Independently operate cutting-edge ultrasound equipment and ensure efficient, patient-focused service.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive ultrasound services with a focus on quality and efficiency.Maintain compliance with ASAR and ASUM standards.Adjust and modify examinations as necessary to meet clinical criteria.Operate RIS/PACS and other ultrasound systems.Mixed case load General, vascular, MSK, Obstetrics and Gynecology, small parts, 30–60-minute scan times, scheduled break.Support and work closely with the supervising radiologist.Lead by example, fostering teamwork within the department.Requirements: Essential: Postgraduate qualification in ultrasound (e.g., DMU or university graduate diploma).Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Association Registry (ASAR).Demonstrated expertise and proficiency in key ultrasound areas.Strong time management, communication skills, and professionalism.Other Requirements: Current police check.Working with Children Check.Up-to-date immunization history.Victorian driver's license.About the Location: Experience the beauty and charm of Glenelg Shire.
