Locum Social Worker – Sexual Assault Service

ASAP start date for 6 months + possible extension Locum rates upto $70 per hour + super 3-4 days per week. Accommodation available   Experienced Social Worker required for up to 6 months locums with regional hospital in gorgeous Northern NSW - close to Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. The role is based in the Sexual Assault Service. Open to Level 1,2 or 3 clinicians. You will be working with children and adults who have experienced sexual assault.  Training will be provided but you must have relevant experience. Working across a crisis and therapeutic setting. The roles are 3- 4 days per week, Monday – Friday + on call.  The on call roster is on average one night every 10 days.   The role involves: Crisis response – attending hospital with the patient post sexual assault, coordination, patient consent, psycho education, emotional and physical response, referrals to ongoing support Intake phone referrals Short term counselling Referrals to victim services Outreach to schools Locum rates up to $70 per hour Accommodation available if required You must be a Qualified Social Worker eligible for membership with the AASW   Training will be provided but you should have some experience in crisis support, counselling, child protection or another relevant specialty.   To apply for this role or to enquire about our other vacancies, please contact Rachael – Allied Health Division Lead at CC Medical on 0452 189 556 or email ******   My contactable days are Monday – Friday.
