Pay Rate: $65 - $80 per hour + super

About the Role:
Mars Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Locum Social Worker for a 12-week contract on an Older Adults Mental Health Ward in Regional NSW. This role requires a passionate professional with experience in aged care to provide crucial support and services to older adults with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive social work services to older adults in a mental health ward.Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.Support families and caregivers, offering guidance and resources as needed.Advocate for patients' rights and ensure they receive appropriate community services post-discharge.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work.Current registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).Proven experience in aged care and mental health settings.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Full Australian Working Rights (Working Holiday Visa's welcome!)What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate between $65 and $80 + super.Travel and accommodation expenses covered.Opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.Professional development and networking opportunities.How to Apply:
