Senior Podiatrist.
Job ref: 1550515Location: Based in Cairns, QLD – with travel to communities in Cape York.
Salary: $82 - $87 per hour plus super.
Travel provided, accommodation negotiable dependent on situation.
We are seeking a Senior Podiatrist to work with members of communities in the beautiful Cape York region, FNQ.
Locum until 30/6/25, with possibility of extension (optional).
The podiatry service has not been run in the area for a period of time and we are urgently looking for the right podiatrist to reinstate the service and provide podiatry services to the communities.
You will have control of how the service is rolled out and be given time to plan and order equipment prior to travelling to community (no sterilisation services in community).

A little about the role:Initially, you will plan the rollout of the service and order implements before travelling weekly to various communities.
You will also do some cultural awareness training, as it is critical to the success of the service.
When ready, your travel week will be Tuesday - Thursday, having Monday and Friday (finish early with TOIL) in the Cairns office.
When travelling, you will be with other members of the Allied Health team and be accommodated close to each other.
