Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments to enhance functional independence and safety for patients in community programs.
Design targeted, goal-oriented interventions and prescribe equipment that empowers patients and enriches their daily lives.
Collaborate with a team of passionate professionals, offering your expertise in Rehab in the Home, TCP, and restorative care to develop holistic care plans.
Mentor Allied Health Assistants, Grade 1 OTs, or students, helping build a strong team while making a direct impact on patient care quality.
Champion quality improvement initiatives, aligning with NSQHSS standards to ensure the highest level of care.
Who We're Looking For: Essential: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration.
Proven experience in community programs with the ability to manage an independent caseload.
Strong communication skills and a knack for working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent time management skills and tech-savvy for efficient case documentation.
Valid Australian Driver's licence essential Desirable: Experience in Rehab, Restorative Care, or Outpatient programs like TCP and Rehab in the Home.
Previous experience in clinical or student supervision.
