What does the job look like? Reporting to the Head of Security, the Locksmith is responsible for ordering, building, supplying, and installing locks and lock componentry.
Key areas include:
Build locks, cut keys, and repair vehicles onsite as requiredConduct preventative maintenanceAssist security section where required through the maintenance and interrogation of systemsReport technical solutions and make recommendations for change to improve effectiveness and efficiency to managementIdentify issues requiring technical solutions, collaborate with other technicians, and forward solutions back to managementAre you the one? The role is responsible for maximizing the number of locks available for operational service across Linfox Armaguard Group and for protecting the IP and security of the Armaguard Group Fleet, assets, and premises.
You can demonstrate:
Previous experience as a locksmith, ideally with safes or other high-security equipmentExperience in parts identification and in dealing with suppliersVictorian Private Security Individual RegistrationAutomotive and access control experience preferredAppropriate Drivers Licence, Security Licence, and Security Installer RegistrationExperience with ASSA ABLOY systems advantageousKnowledge of Pro master database system advantageousSound like you?
