Job Description Reporting to the Deputy Security Manager DSM, the Locksmith will support special projects for mission critical assignments on site. You will provide daily physical and technical security support while interfacing with both the Amentum Projects & Construction team and the customer. This position will be responsible for all physical/technical security management and the security lock and key program; the incumbent may also be required to provide support for door hardware installation and facilitation for the program. Review the Construction & Projects security plans, providing feedback and recommendations as required in accordance with industry and security standards for SCIF and non SCIF environments. Provide support related to modification of the SCIF(s), including impacts to the physical and technical accreditation of the area, documentation, access, penetrations, sound attenuation, etc. Coordinate, and facilitate the support and technical area lock and key accountability program. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing physical security and technical issues, and provide solutions. Conduct physical security and risk inspections, evaluate and provide recommendations. Work in conjunction with management to provide a variety of security-related services, support, and guidance in relation to special projects. Review facilities designs and procedures in relation to the location of sensitive material, providing recommendations as required. Provide physical audits of facilities based on applicable standards, including corrective action recommendations. Provide written reports to the Security Manager. Ensure compliance with all environmental health and safety requirements. Any other reasonable duties as requested. Minimum Qualifications: 3 – 5 years of experience in physical security (ICD-705), and all aspects of physical and technical security. GSA Safe & Vault Technicians Course.
