This full-time role would suit a customer-focused and self-driven operator with a passion for delivering no matter the obstacle.
The Job:Flexible with working varied hours, including weekends and overtime with penalty rates.Work to deliver high levels of service to our customers through effectively transporting general freight supporting the Mount Isa community.Take responsibility for safely and securely loading and unloading a variety of freight with some manual handling of parcel freight.Completing daily vehicle inspections and necessary paperwork including pre-start checks as well as filling out run sheets, PODs, and logbooks.Qualifications:Hold a current C class (Manual) license with proven experience operating a vehicle to complete multiple deliveries or similar customer service based role for a minimum of 2 years.A strong level of resilience and ability to problem-solve coupled with the capability to work within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Have a passion for going the extra mile to provide high level service to all our customers.Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen, as well as a criminal history check if required.Benefits: Opportunity to earn overtime & shift penalty rates when applicable.Be a part of a company that cares about their people, with free access to our Employee Assistance Program.Join our corporate health fund and enjoy a healthy discount purely for being a Followmont employee.Be recognised for your hard work through our employee recognition program.Opportunities to progress your career within our company.Service | Unity | Passion | Integrity | Innovation
