About the role: Duties you can expect with this role include: Working with temperature sensitive produce for local runsEnsuring the safe and timely handling of company freightCompleting relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technologyInteracting with clients in a professional mannerWorking closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freightAbout the requirements: The candidates we are looking for will: Have a current MC licenceHave a commitment to workplace health and safetyBe reliable and punctual with good communication skillsHave a strong customer focusKnowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systemsTo be successful for this role applicants must: Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol testProvide a current traffic print outBe well presented, professional and reliableExperience transporting chilled freight, frozen freight or livestock is highly respectedOur benefits include: Competitive ratesModern and state of the art equipmentSafety focusedAccess to Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Free onsite parkingAccess to personal development through educationIf you are a driver that takes pride in their work and are looking for a stable long-term career in transport, we encourage you to apply for this role.
