Local Law Officer

We are recruiting for a Local Laws Officer in the East of Melbourne. Your new company Our client is located in the East suburbs of Melbourne who are currently seeking temps to support their team in the Local Laws Department. They are after candidates who are passionate in shaping the future of their city and the people who are part of it, as well as encourage their employees to grow and develop to their best potential. This role initially will be a three month contract with a very likely chance of extension. Your new role You will be an experienced Local Laws Officer and your duties on a daily basis will include: Report instances of overhanging vegetation, hard rubbish, abandoned vehicles and any other public complaints Issuing infringements or conduct follow-ups Litter enforcement if required Educating and communicating with the public What you'll need to succeed You will have excellent communication and organisation skills as well as; Experience working as a Local Laws Officer is required.
