About the role As our Loans Services Officer, you will report to the Team Manager and will be responsible for checking and preparing the bank's security documentation for complex & non-complex loans and substitutions to our customers.
You will play an important role in the Bank's lending, ensuring that the Bank can take possession of the property offered by the customer as security against a loan in the event of a default by the customer.
As our new Loan Fulfilment Officer (Documentation), your key responsibilities will relate to the accurate provision of:
Checking loan loading and proposed bank securities Preparing legal security documentation including contracts and mortgages Security Documents of all Substitution of Security Files Preparation of Guarantor Disclosure Information and Packages Providing advice and guidance to the Local Connection networks Knowledge of conveyancing and property title requirements for all Australian jurisdictions Within this role, you will support all Consumer Processing teams in delivering services to the Local Connection, Business Banking, and Third Party Banking networks.
About you As our new Loans Services Officer, you will bring the following skills:
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Proactive, innovative, and prepared to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service. Energetic, enthusiastic, and co-operative. Demonstrated ability to work within tight timeframes with the ability to prioritise. Able to work effectively in a team environment or autonomously. Highly accurate approach with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of the Consumer Credit Code and Banking Code of Practice is desirable. General understanding of loan securities. Ability to prioritise, monitor, and organise workflows. Previous experience and knowledge of loan securities, land titles, and other forms of property legislation, stamp duty legislation, and practices is highly desirable. Experience in a loan processing centre, security documentation or conveyance functions or similar field is preferred. We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum 60% on-site attendance (as of July 1st) in a local Head Office per week. This role is a full-time, 12-month Secondment/fixed term contract, based at our Adelaide or Bendigo head office locations.
