Carpenter Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and fully qualified Carpenter to join our dynamic team.
About the Role:Interpreting blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications.Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, cabinets, countertops, and molding.Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials.Assembling, leveling, and installing building frameworks with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes.Inspecting and repairing damaged frameworks, structures, and fixtures.Leading and directing labourers and construction helpers.Preparing on-site drawings for cabinetry, framing, and other projects.Creating mock-ups for client approval before starting work.Constructing window frames, doors, staircases, and cabinetry using raw materials or pre-constructed components.Framing room additions and other structural modifications.Selecting high-quality materials and evaluating them for defects.Ensuring compliance with building codes, especially for kitchen and bathroom remodelling projects.Installing flooring, roofing, and drywall with precision to ensure compatibility and leveling.Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.Qualifications and Skills:Certificate III in Carpentry (or higher).A minimum of 2 years of professional carpentry experience.The ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.Strong communication and organizational skills.An artistic mindset with keen attention to detail.A friendly, professional demeanour and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.A
