LMS Energy is Australia's largest emissions reducer and the national leader in biogas-to-energy and solar on landfill. LMS requires the services of a full-time or part-time Financial Analyst in Unley, South Australia.
As part of our team, you will collaborate with the Supervisor – Commercial where your role will primarily involve developing and delivering market and financial modelling analysis.

Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of commodity markets and LMS' financials to provide insights to support investment decisions. Perform risk analysis for LMS' commodities portfolio and support the development of trading strategies. Work closely with the Business Development team to undertake conceptual and detailed analytical evaluations on a range of strategic and operational projects. Support the LMS Trading team with analysis as required including the creation of budgets and forecasts. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate analysis results, insights, and recommendations to management and other stakeholders. Develop and maintain financial models and briefing papers. Develop documentation outlining new processes within the trading team. Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Business/Economics. 3+ years of experience in a financial/commercial analyst role, preferably specializing in markets, M&A or corporate finance.
