Livestock Yard Attendant

About the Role:As a Yard Hand, you will play a vital role in maintaining the yard, equipment, and facilities, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the business's day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:General Yard Duties: Perform general yard duties, including machinery cleaning and waste management.Tyre Fitting: Assist with tyre fitting and maintenance.Inventory Support: Provide support in relation to inventory maintenance and management.Safety Protocols: Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.Reporting and Maintenance: Report machinery faults and safety issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.About You:To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.Analytical Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanical aptitude or qualifications would be highly advantageous.Welding Skills: Welding experience or qualifications would be highly advantageous.Forklift License: A forklift license is an advantage but not essential.At Prestige Staffing, we are looking for a reliable and proactive person to join our client's team as a Yard Hand.
