About the opportunity: Reporting to a mentor livestock agent, and liaising with the General Manager, our program aims to prepare you for a career as a livestock agent within our organisation. The program, includes:?????? Accelerated learning opportunities working day to day with our experienced agents to kick start your journey, to a role as an agent, within the Livestock industry. Involved across the entire PLRE business and related entities, working across various regions with different agents. Exposure to, and opportunities to participate and learn Livestock skills – next generation stock and station agency skills, Auctions Plus, auctioneering, wool technical and market requirements and emerging industry technologies and programs. Hands on opportunities working with clients and customers directly and in our various saleyard operations across SA. Business skills –sales and client relationship building, communication, marketing and social media, exposure to finance products, livestock administration activities and requirements, and working as part of a team. About you : To be successful in this role you will have a Passion for the livestock industry and agriculture in general A strong desire to learn, and succeed in the livestock industry Excellent communication and client service skills Exceptional client and customer experiences Desire to build a career and business in livestock agenting In addition, you will have: Completed Year 12 or equivalent. Preferably completed or are actively involved in post-secondary school program or tertiary study (not a pre-requisite) Minimum of at least 24 months working in ideally the Livestock Industry or otherwise Agricultural industry.
