Livestock & Maintenance Couple, SPRINGSURE QLDSpringsure is a rural township located in Queensland's Central Highlands, positioned south of Emerald and north of Rolleston. The area thrives on local industries like beef cattle, grain, cotton, and coal mining, providing essential community services, including primary and secondary schools, medical facilities, shopping options, and sporting activities.
Currently, there are two full-time positions available for a couple to join our client's station and feedlot operation to the west of Springsure. This cattle operation supports around 10,000 head of cattle and serves both domestic and international markets by raising cattle to their optimal weight.
Position A:Mixing and preparing commoditiesOperating the feed truck to distribute commodities to cattleGeneral feedlot maintenance dutiesProviding assistance within the cattle yards when required.Position B:Pen riding within the feedlot (own horse/s viewed favourably).Cattle movements on the backgrounding station blocks.Cattle inductions & exits & attending to animal health requirements.General feedlot maintenance duties.Couple accommodation provided and competitive remuneration rates to be discussed according to skill & experience.
