As a Live Mock Invigilator at Australia's only live UCAT testing Centre, your role will ensure our course remains innovative whilst fostering a supportive and highly professional testing environment for our students.
The RoleAs a Live UCAT Mock Invigilator, you will be entrusted with ensuring that the mocks are run on time with a high degree of professionalism. You are tasked with setting up the testing centre, ensuring it functions properly and guiding students throughout the process. Your role is to act as a professional yet friendly and helpful invigilator. You will often be the first physical interaction between students and Contour MedPrep, demonstrating the importance of an excellent first impression.
This role best suits someone who enjoys teamwork, has a robust interpersonal skillset, a strong work ethic, empathy toward students and parents, and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their dreams of admission into medical school. You will also rely on your problem-solving and excellent communication skills to excel in this role when handling families who may have doubts about enrolling in our program.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs one of our Live Mock Invigilators, your main responsibilities include:
Set-Up and Pack-Up of Testing Centre(s). Setting up and packing up all equipment, supplies and furniture required for all rooms in the testing centre. Running Live Mock Exams. This includes facilitating an accurate waiting room and check-in process, marking attendance and calling absentees, troubleshooting technical issues, carefully invigilating students during exams, and ensuring students receive their results. Post-Exam Student Debriefs. This involves interacting with students after their exam, discussing their experience, and addressing any feedback/complaints received. Expected Work Hours Around 14 Hours per Week during School Holiday periods. Around 7 Hours per Week during all other periods. Compensation$25/hour + SuperMinimum RequirementsMandatory: Completed the UCAT.
Ideal: Completed VCE, HSC or QCE; Studying (or planning to study) Medicine.
