Tully is a gorgeous little town situated in the Cassowary Coast region of Far North Queensland. What's on offer: Remuneration between $97,006 - $109,800  per annum + 12.75% superannuation + locality allowance up to $2,464 per annum. And up to $10,000 to help you relocate to Tully.   The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the applicant's knowledge, skill and competencies required for the position. About the role: As a Linesperson and/or Live Line Linesperson, you will: Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Linesperson, or Be trade qualified with a Queensland Live Line authorisation.  Construct, maintain and repair overhead, high, and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains and customer service lines.  Perform live line methodology on Energy Queensland (Ergon Energy and Energex) networks.  About you: Critical to your success in the role, is your: Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network. Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations. Availability for call out and emergency work. Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work. Current 'C' class open Drives Licence.  You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical as part of the selection process.
