As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our attorneys providing support before, during and after trials.Compensation:Starting salary $65,000Holiday and Paid Time offHealth Insurance401(k)Bonus opportunitiesThis is an IN PERSON position with the opportunity for hybrid days.Responsibilities:Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, summons, and other legal memorandaE-file all court documents in state and federal courtDiligently medically manage client care to maximize case valueCommunicate with clients, court, counsel, and othersConduct legal research and factual investigationPrepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responsesCoordinate and summarize depositionsPrepare trial binders and exhibitsDraft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the courtPerform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics)Maintain pleadings and discovery indexesOrganize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendicesAid attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requestsGather relevant information from a variety of sourcesLiaise between trial teams and internal/external third partiesWitness preparationAssist with case settlementsQualifications:Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervisionHighly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailEfficiently follow through on completing tasks by deadlineDisplay a professional attitude, is thoughtful, polite, curious, and eager to learnAble to speak, read and write English proficientlyEducation/Training/Experience:2 years of litigation experience2 years experience in Personal Injury or other injury-related practice areasStrong drafting and writing skillsFamiliarity with legal specifics related to the firms' areas of lawApplicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practicesExperience with E-Filing PortalProficient in technology software, including databasesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Bachelor's Degree in related fieldExperience with Filevine and LeadDocketCompensation: $65,000
