OMB Solicitors is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our Litigation/Insurance team in Southport, Queensland.
This full-time role in our brand-new Southport office will see you providing crucial support to our Litigation/Insurance Team, ensuring smooth operation of the team. With a focus on exceptional customer service, you will play a key part in delivering positive outcomes for our clients.
What you'll be doing Providing comprehensive administrative support to our litigation/insurance Special Counsel team leader, including diary management, correspondence, document preparation and file managementPreparing legal documents such as court forms, affidavits, and briefsConducting legal research and assisting with case preparationLiaising with clients, external parties and the court on behalf of lawyersMaintaining electronic filing systems to ensure information is easily accessibleAccounts – billing, receiptingAdhering to firm procedures and deadlines to deliver high-quality workWhat we're looking for Minimum 2 years' experience as a legal secretary, preferably in a litigation/insurance or dispute resolution environmentStrong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional telephone mannerProficiency in MS Office suiteExperience with LawMaster is advantageous, however not essentialMeticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat we offer At OMB Solicitors, we are committed to supporting our employees' professional development and work-life balance.
