Our client is a leading, long-standing & highly reputable medium-sized CBD law firm.
They are renowned for their excellent culture, strong leadership team, and long-term staff tenure.
This role will be replacing an experienced Litigation Lawyer who will be retiring in the short term.
This is a unique opportunity to walk into a ready-made litigation practice with established clientele and make it your own!
In this role, you will handle a broad range of litigation matters, acting for either the plaintiff or defendant:
Commercial Litigation: contractual disputes, partnership disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, professional negligence, trade practices, building and construction claims, leasing and franchising disputes;Employment Law: acting for either employer or employee such as breaches of employment contracts, restraint of trade, OH&S claims, sexual harassment/discrimination/bullying in the workplace;Media/Intellectual Property: including copyright, defamation and intellectual property claims including confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements, licensing agreements, and deeds of assignment;Here, you will be able to make your mark in this firm and be a part of their future succession planning.
You will also enjoy mentoring other litigation lawyers.
About you...
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Ideally 8-10 years plus PQEA proven track record in a broad range of litigation matters including Commercial Litigation and Employment Litigation;Enthusiasm to foster/develop & drive key business/practice development initiatives;Strong leadership/mentoring skills to actively be involved in developing the team's skill set;Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.In return, our client offers:
