About the role
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic team at OGILVIE JENNINGS in Hobart, Tasmania, ideally with 3+ years post-admission experience.
As a full-time Litigation Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal services to our diverse range of clients, with a focus on litigation and dispute resolution.What you'll be doingProviding expert legal advice and representation in a variety of litigation matters, including personal injuries, workers compensation, civil disputes, commercial litigation, and regulatory matters.Conducting legal research, preparing court documents, and appearing in court to advocate on behalf of clients.Collaborating with clients and colleagues to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure the highest standards of legal practice.Contributing to the growth and development of the firm through business development and client relationship management.What we're looking forSubstantial experience (at least 3 years) in litigation and dispute resolution.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and find creative solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.A commitment to providing exceptional client service and a demonstrated track record of successful client outcomes.Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.What we offerCompetitive remuneration and benefits package.Supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.About us
