Brisbane Dispute Resolution & Litigation Legal Full time Due to our continued growth, Piper Alderman is seeking a talented lawyer with 1-3 years of post-qualified experience to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution group.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial litigation and related dispute matters.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborating with partners and senior lawyers on litigation and dispute matters Drafting emails, correspondence, opinions, advice, and legal documentation for court and tribunal proceedings Assisting with the preparation and management of files Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents Managing the discovery process including collecting, reviewing, and organising documents and evidence Attending court appearances and mediations To succeed in this role, you will ideally have: 1-3 years of post-admission general litigation experience Excellent academic record with strong technical legal skills Commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients Ability to effectively manage time, handle competing tasks, and work to tight deadlines Strong drafting skills, particularly in drafting court documents and affidavits Team player with a supportive and collaborative working style Self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude and eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman About the team This practice group has been described in The Legal 500 Asia as "A top performer in the corporate and commercial litigation space" with supervising Partners for this role being recognised in Best Lawyers in Australia, 2025 edition .
