Here at Lion, we are searching for our next Senior Commercial Analyst - Supply Chain & Logistics to join our Finance Team in Sydney, reporting into our Head of Finance - Spirits. You will partner with the Operations Team at the Four Pillars Distillery, as well as our Warehousing and Logistics Teams to provide financial and commercial analysis and insights to enable better decision-making and business performance. You will partner with our Operations Director, have full ownership of the Distillery P&L and engage in a commercial business partnering role. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to make the role their own by driving good governance and improving processes. The position is full time and hybrid, which means you'll have the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.
A day in the life Provide commercial decision support, drive results and create value through deep operational and day-to-day analysis Partner with the Operations, Warehousing and Logistics Teams, providing support with validating insights, risks and opportunities identification and mitigation, and commercial outlook Timely, accurate and insightful management of P&L and Balance Sheet, including review and monitoring performance for key financial metrics, planning and reporting, and communication of results Ownership of month-end, reporting and forecasting Support the development of a robust 3 year plan, annual budget and half-year reforecast in alignment with strategy and agreed timelines Identify and support value creation and continuous improvement initiatives. What you'll bring 5+ years' post-qualified experience in accounting, audit and/or finance roles Experience working for a large consumer goods company in a commercial finance role supporting supply chain and manufacturing (experience in an alcoholic beverages company would be a major advantage) A high level of commercial acumen Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong stakeholder management skills including influencing senior management Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Accounting/Finance At Lion, we offer 'growth on tap' and you'll get hooked on reaching higher with each new challenge.
