About the role We are seeking applications from qualified and experienced Electrical Transmission & Distribution Lineworker's to join an established company with multiple bases across Melbourne, Rural Melbourne and Peninsula. The roles available will be responsible for completing public lighting. Key duties/Responsibilities Perform all works associated with our electrical linework construction, maintenance and public lighting contract within budget, and in a timely and safe manner.Ensure all equipment including vehicles, plant and materials are kept clean and well maintained.Replace existing lamps as required.Provide timely reporting as required on work progress, quality standards and work practices.Replace existing streetlights with new LED lights in a timely and safe manner.Receive and complete work using an iPad.Be innovative towards and actively participate in improving construction methods.Ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance are achieved.Maintain good customer relations. Skills/Experience Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or Australian equivalent.Construction Industry White Card.High Risk Licences (Elevating Work Platform, Dogging and Rigging).Victorian Lineworker Registration.A current MR or HR Drivers Licence.Current VESI Skills passport with up to date training is advantageous.Pre-Employment Requirements Attend pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.Benefits Opportunity to upskill through live line works, operating and licencing.Position covered by our Employment Agreement.Training provided.Allowances as per Employment Agreement.Additional Living Away payment when working away from home.All PPE provided.RDO every fortnight.Great office support.Employee Share Program.Work in great locations across Victoria.Employee Assistance Program.To apply, please upload your resume and cover letter, by clicking the apply button.
