Your Role in Action Attending and rectifying faults in a timely manner will ensure minimal loss of supply and less disruption to the customer.Complete allocated construction and maintenance work to Western Power standards ensuring consistent quality across the network.Maintaining and enhancing core Line skills with changing industry standards and business requirements.Participating in pre-job planning to identify risks, hazards and task variables and control measures to ensure safe, reliable and affordable job completion.Working in environmental elements to complete jobs subject to adequate safety and control measures being implemented.Good customer relations are upheld when working in the field especially where there is direct contact with the public.What Makes You a Great Fit Or – New Zealand Electricity Supply (Distribution) Minimum Level 4Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity networkHOU and LOU Switching is highly regarded but not essentialBy joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
