Normal schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.Responsibilities:Possess high school diploma or GED.Have a basic knowledge of HFC Cable Network including analog, digital, data and combining.Knowledge of RF sweeping, balancing and maintenance of cable plant.General knowledge of current pole, underground and fiber optic construction techniques.Basic knowledge of current installation techniques.Ability to lift, carry and climb a 28 ft. extension ladder and climb poles using gaffs.Operate and work safely in a bucket truck.Work independently on overhead or underground cable television plant and read system schematics.Must have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and knowledge of how to use a bucket truck.Two-year certificate from a technical school or an associate degree in electrical engineering and/or prior field experience is a plus.Any knowledge of telephony is a plus.
