A great opportunity has become available for a qualified Line Pilot LiDAR to join our aviation team flying our P68 fleet.Who We Are:Aerometrex is a trusted and leading geospatial tech company specialising in providing geospatial solutions & insights for our customers in both Australia and the US. The Company, established in 1980, comprises of a strong Board, Executive group and a highly talented team of people with significant industry experience.About the role:This full-time hands-on role reports to the Head of Flying Operations (HOO) and is ideally suited to an agile individual who loves travelling, thrives on change and has a proactive can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be a team player with a professional outlook and attitude, and must reside within 2 hours of a major Australian city.Key Responsibilities:• Timely execution of aerial survey missions.• Active monitoring of weather and other factors or conditions that ensure safe, efficient flights.• Precision capture and delivery of quality imagery.• Navigating congested airspace and air traffic coordination.• Inspection and monitoring of aircraft, powerplant, systems and equipment.• Organisation, neatness, and cleanliness of aircraft and equipment.• Frequent communications with stakeholders and daily submission of reports.• Maintain aircraft performance within the capture systems operational envelope.• Comply with all the applicable requirements in the aviation regulations and in the Company's Operations Manual.• Complete all company documentation and administration in required timeframes.About you:• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills• The ability to work effectively as part of a small team• An Australian Commercial Pilots Licence Aeroplane• Experience in Primary control zones (Class D and C)• Previous Survey or special mission operationsMeet the following minimum experience:• Total Command hours - 1500• Total command on ME-Class
